Urban Ecological Design

Urban Ecological Design is a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to the practice of landscape architecture based on the axiom that human and ecological health are intertwined. By applying a social and environmental justice lens to the design and construction process, I attempt to address environmental degradation and social inequity in a participatory, synthetic, and creative way. Through layering in ecological functions such as pollinator species and water management, sites become multi-functional and add to communities' resiliency.
